Self-drive boat hire

A fun, easy and comfortable way to enjoy the magic of Fowey Harbour. We Have a choice of boats suitable for up 7 people with enough room onboard to pack a picnic or the fishing rod. With plenty of places to discover from scheduled beaches & creeks to riverside villages perfect for exploring. You will have an adventure to remember.

No experience necessary as they are simple to drive, and no boat license is required. Full instructions will be given on the controls of the boat from our friendly experienced team. Our vessels are extremely stable, robust and have a new electric start 8hp engines or a manual pull start 5hp.
We will give you route guidance on the best places to visit during your hire and a map to take with you. Everyone will be given a suitable buoyancy aid or lifejacket. All boat's contain paddles, ropes, an anchor and all fuel is included. 

To self hire a boat at least one of your group must be over 18 years of age and will be appointed the Boat Captain. With all our Hire's you can explore as much of the river Fowey as you like, but you must not go beyond the harbour limits and out to sea.

Dogs Welcome onboard all hire boats, unfortunately we do not offer doggie lifejackets.

Am Hires start from 10.00am and must be returned by 1pm - Pm Hires start from 1.30pm and must be returned by 5.00pm. Hires outside these times can be arranged in advance, contact us for details.
